AI engineering

What we build

Four kinds of AI work, and the web, mobile and cloud engineering that carries them. Most engagements draw on more than one.

Voice

Voice and conversational agents

Agents that take a call, hold a conversation and finish the job, not a phone tree with better wording. We run one of these in production ourselves, so the hard parts are familiar: latency budgets, interruption, and knowing when to stop talking and hand over.

  • Real-time voice with natural turn-taking
  • Telephony integration and an optional dedicated number
  • Tool calls into calendars, CRMs and booking systems
  • SMS and email follow-up on the same thread
  • Hand-off to a person when the agent should not proceed

Automate

Workflow automation

We start with a process you already run and find the part that eats hours. Then we automate that part and leave the rest alone. Running a live agent taught us where this genuinely works and where it quietly doesn't.

  • Document and email triage, quoting, data extraction
  • Reports and reconciliations that assemble overnight
  • Connecting systems that were never designed to talk
  • A person in the loop wherever the cost of being wrong is high

Knowledge

Retrieval and knowledge systems

An assistant is only as good as what it is allowed to read. We index your documentation, catalogues, policies and past work, then make the model answer from those with the source attached, so a wrong answer is visible rather than merely plausible.

  • Indexing over your own documents, records and catalogue
  • Answers returned with their source, so they can be checked
  • Access rules that follow the person asking
  • Re-indexing as the underlying material changes

Devices

AI and connected equipment

Equipment that reports its state produces far more readings than anyone reads. The work is the layer in between: collecting the stream, deciding what is worth acting on, and routing it into the systems and people who already handle the job. The same engineering as everything above, pointed at hardware.

  • Collecting telemetry from equipment and gateways
  • Rules and thresholds that decide what deserves attention
  • Alerts routed into the systems already handling the work
  • Dashboards for the state of a fleet, not a spreadsheet export
  • The application layer around it: web, mobile, access control

This is the newest line of work we take on. Ask us what a first build would look like.

Build

Web, mobile and product engineering

Whether it's a public site, an internal tool your staff live in all day, or a product you intend to sell, the work is the same discipline. We write it to be handed over, not to be re-written.

  • Customer-facing websites and web applications
  • iOS and Android apps, native or cross-platform
  • Product development: auth, billing, permissions, reporting
  • Internal tools and admin systems
  • Cloud migration and infrastructure setup

Grow

Local SEO and content

For businesses whose customers search by suburb. We keep the technical foundations clean, the Google Business Profile accurate, and a steady run of articles going out that answer what people actually type.

  • Technical SEO: structure, speed, indexing, schema
  • Google Business Profile and local listings
  • Ongoing article and blog writing
  • Location and service-area landing pages

Not sure which of these you need?

That's a normal place to start. Describe the problem and we'll work it out on the call.
